CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
Host Organizations for the Public Interest Articling Fellowship 2022-2023 |
The Law Foundation of Ontario's Public Interest Articling Fellowship program is now accepting applications from potential host organizations for the 2022-2023 articling period, with the possibility of renewal.
The Public Interest Articling Fellowship responds to a significant need for legal assistance within the public interest community while giving law students valuable experience in public interest law. Host organizations will receive funding from the Foundation to pay an articling student's salary, to reimburse the Law Society of Ontario lawyer licensing process fees, and to cover expenses associated with hosting a fellow.
Who can apply Ontario-based registered charities and nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply if they have an articling principal onsite but do not have access to funds to hire an articling student. Note that Legal Aid Ontario supported clinics are not eligible to apply.
When and how to apply Applications will be accepted until November 13, 2020, 5:00 p.m. EST. For full details and the application form, visit the Foundation's Public Interest Articling Fellowship Host Organization Call for Applications webpage.
Please share this information with other organizations that are eligible and may benefit from the program.
