Have you ever supported a family member, close friend, or acted as a substitute decision-maker for someone who received palliative care, or end of life care? Or, do you work in health care, academia, government, or another profession with knowledge or experience in issues during the last stages of life?
We want to hear from you! Today, the Law Commission of Ontario launches a survey to hear about the experiences faced by all Ontarians when dealing with and navigating through the last stages of life. This survey is being conducted by the LCO as part of our Improving the Last Stages of Life Project. The LCO is an independent organization that studies laws and makes recommendations to the government about how to make laws fairer, easier to use, and more effective. The LCO will use your answers to help us understand how the law is working. This feedback helps us make recommendations for change in our final report to government.
